Review of “Bama Profiles in Courage: Laykin”: (Capers) Barr flexes through an emotional range that most writers would never dare attempt … Humor and Bama sorrow are fused together like twined tree trunks that keep each other standing…..It’s part satire, part character study, with a wry lens on fame, fandom, and the modern South. (Above, Lloyd Braun meets Irvin)

His rants about “being a champion” are so predictable and worn out. His jealousy that advertisers find Peyton an attractive spokeperson for their products are so transparent. Maybe the crack pipe manufacturers will let you endorse their product, Michael.

Oh BTW, Gaffney and Caldwell are on the Patriots, former Gators, so they suck just like Rex Grossman.
