Halftime: Tennessee 24, Georgia Tech 10. Temperature Check
Tennessee leads Georgia Tech 24–10 at halftime. The board has already declared the line dominant, fired the line coach, buried the defense, resurrected Telander, and begun offseason staff reconstruction.
Tennessee leads Georgia Tech 24–10 at halftime, which gave the message board just enough time to declare the offensive line dominant, demand the offensive-line coach be fired, pronounce the defense dead, watch it make one of the plays of the half, bury Telander, resurrect Telander, and briefly misplace a running back. The board experienced an entire season before the bands even got back to their seats.
The opening drive brought Volunteer4life:
“Couldn’t ask for anything better than that! Great OL blocking and play calling.”
Looks like a penis TD
That lasted about as long as a free sample at Costco.
Keebz: “Right side of the line is…bad.”
Kwyjibo: “I couldn’t believe when I saw some posters on this board saying we were gonna have a top 10 offensive line this year in the country.”
TheRainKing: “We can’t move the line of scrimmage when we need to. It’s pitiful.”
VolsForever101: “Crabtree and Elarbee, both gone this offseason. Need to cull the weaknesses from this staff.”
So: great OL blocking to fire the OL coach before halftime.
The defense took the same elevator.
“This defense sucks.”
Then Tennessee made a huge defensive play and the board immediately produced:
“Best DB play I’ve ever seen.”
But Telander won the half.
Volgaryn: “Telander can not set the edge.”
A little later, Telander made the interception.
CampSned1997: “very athletic play by Telander, never a doubt he has the ability to climb the ladder like that”
There had, in fact, been doubt.
Tennessee 24. Georgia Tech 10.
84% Tennessee Orange.
The Vols lead by two touchdowns. The board has already begun offseason staff reconstruction.
