ESPN’s The Magazine recently ran a story on yet another Ed
Orgeron failure, the Batshit Crazy Cajun’s (Coon-ass for Bama Fans) highly unsucccessful and now embarrassingly public recruitment of running back Joe McKnight. They had been working this kid since 2002!! That makes it even more hilarious.
The story chronicles how Batshit Crazy Ed is supposed to be “one man recruiting machine” failed to “button” up a high touted recruit. Damn, it’s
really harsh when a major sports publication like The Magazine subtly destroys the one thing that you are supposed to be good at….recruiting. Ed now has achieved the ultimate restraining order, shirtless, wild-boyz, titty twisting trifecta: a chip on his shoulder, a monkey on his back, and Starkville-sized stick up his ass.
Orgeron and his staff, who really can’t be that smart if they are work for Orgeron, worked on this kid for two years only to lose him to a conference call with Reggie Bush to Southern Cal. I guess the McKnight family was not amused with Orgeron’s cheap parlor tricks of sticking his pecker in an exhaust pipe or kissing the family cat on the lips (despite having a severe allergy to cats).
Ole Miss was so focused on getting McKnight that they pissed off the other running back that they were chasing. Robert Elliot,the other running back
got a little jealous that he was not getting enough Ole Miss love so he jumped ship to Sly Croom (here is the Elliot recruiting failure) for the promise of a jersey number. That jersey number happened to be the number “2”. Which coincidently happened to the total number of running backs being recruited and lost by Ole Miss. That is funny shit….0 or O, that also coincides with how many running backs Ole Miss signed this year….0
I am betting that Orgeron and the Ole Miss Fanbase missed that creative bitch slap by ESPN. Coach O is not a Miami CSI like David Caruso on “buttoning”.
