Review of “Bama Profiles in Courage: Laykin”: (Capers) Barr flexes through an emotional range that most writers would never dare attempt … Humor and Bama sorrow are fused together like twined tree trunks that keep each other standing…..It’s part satire, part character study, with a wry lens on fame, fandom, and the modern South. Well done, Capers, well done.”– Ian Allen, The Times Literary Supplement.

Urban “Herban” Meyer told Steve Spurrier, “knock it off Motherfucker”. Meyer was visibly upset that another team is “stealing” the spotlight from Florida, reiterated to Spurrier: “enough is enough. I have just as many National Championships as you do, Dick.”  Pictured below is the Florida Gator Equipment Room.

Even the University of Florida’s own players are sick of the off-field antics of some of the Southeastern Conference’s other players, Herban Meyer suggests using a less harsh version of the ” 3 4 5 strike and you are out rule” very similar to the taliban-esque disciplinary program that he uses in Gainesville. This rule doesn’t even really have an impact on a BCS Title run (except for that pesky Auburn game, Thanks Chris Leak).

Cock QB Recruit Stephen Garcia is in trouble…again. This is his 2nd or 3rd offense, not that anyone is counting or cares, it is South Carolina afterall. Columbia is the home of the “moral” victory, Cock fans lament,”he was almost a good QB!!”. The word “almost” is an action verb at South Carolina.

He is from Florida so this should not be a surprise to anyone. Link

The City of Columbia issued an arrest warrant for USC quarterback Stephen Garcia.

Garcia is being charged with malicious injury to personal property. According to the incident report, 34-year-old Adam Biggs says Garcia used a key to scratch his 2007 Toyota Corolla. Biggs’s car was parked on Greene Street near the USC campus Thursday afternoon.
