(stop making fun of our women, these are good Christian girls)
The SEC is all about nasty speed, and they know speed and talent when they see it, WVU’s team is admired down here for sure. The SEC fans just have a huge elitist chip on their shoulder, when it comes to their conference.
Living in the South and having neighbors and friends from UF,UT, UGA, and LSU, the one perception that seems to come to mind has nothing to do with running or passing, or anything on the offensive side of the ball. What the perception is from this neck of the woods, is that we run a gimmick defense and all of our athletes are on offense.
WVU is a respected team, but when you talk to folks about how WVU would fair in the SEC, the one things that SEC fans do is compare our defense to the top tier SEC teams. The perception is that we really don’t have near the level of talent that the a lot of the SEC defenses do. Everyone knows we can score on them, but can we stop anyone when it matters. People saw us on Thursday night giving up big chunks of yards to Louisville and Rutgers and see a team that can’t defend the pass.
Well, The nations perception of WVU is the Sugar Bowl in Atlanta, not the Gator in Fla.. We ass-rape the UGA with 28 points in the 1st quarter and then let them back in it. National respect requires bad boys on D. This is the year that the Eers bring the complete total package 360 degrees, the 3-3-5 is waiting with the nastiest of the nasty….
Here is the fucking truth SEC Homers:
Last week, In Tuscaloosa there was a poll on the biggest sports show in Alabama. They asked” What team is most likely to be the 9th new team to win the NC in 9 years?” or something like that. Out of 7800 votes WV got 56% of the Vote.
Everywhere I go people love or hate the EERS but they all have high regards.
High 5s all around Homers, the Big East is the wave of the future!!
