Review of “Bama Profiles in Courage: Laykin”: (Capers) Barr flexes through an emotional range that most writers would never dare attempt … Humor and Bama sorrow are fused together like twined tree trunks that keep each other standing…..It’s part satire, part character study, with a wry lens on fame, fandom, and the modern South. Well done, Capers, well done.”– Ian Allen, The Times Literary Supplement.

Can the fluffing of Kenny Chesney please stop? Who decided that his “music” is good? Someone please tell Todd Blackledge that he is pretty low on Kenny Chesney’s list, definitely behind Tim Tebow, David Greene, Steve Spurrier, and Peyton Manning.

This is just another reason for the WWL to fire Holly Rowe, Blackledge, and the taint-cheese Mike Patrick so they can bring “The Godfather” Ron Franklin back to calling SEC games. I am really starting to despise the ESPN night games and developing an unhealthy love for Verne Lundquist on CBS. His Les Miles hat comment was gold a few weeks ago.

  1. Aren’t you aware of the formula?

sleeveless t-shirts + below-average lyrics + back up singers singing loud enough to cover up your voice = success in country music.

  2. No I didn’t. That’s why I am a rocker.

I hope Kenny Chesney gets AIDS in his mouth.
