Review of “Bama Profiles in Courage: Laykin”: (Capers) Barr flexes through an emotional range that most writers would never dare attempt … Humor and Bama sorrow are fused together like twined tree trunks that keep each other standing…..It’s part satire, part character study, with a wry lens on fame, fandom, and the modern South. Well done, Capers, well done.”– Ian Allen, The Times Literary Supplement.

No contract is signed, but Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville appears to be considering an offer to become the Arkansas Razorbacks’ next football coach, multiple sources tell ArkansasSports360.com.

Could Ed Orgeron to shift over to Auburn?  Man oh man, that would be a funny but dickish move…

The rumor for years is that Tubberville wants out of Auburn. He has a large buy-out, however. The Corndog nation is interested in both Tuberville and Nick Saban (since it is looking like Les is gone) and they are both represented by Jimmy Sexton. Sexton is such a greedy snake that he must be having the time of his life. Next week will be the real interesting week for all of this. My thought is that no decisions will be made until Les and Michigan make their decisions public next week.

The rumor linked [here].

They’re saying Auburn has till Saturday to beat Arkansas. But I’ve also read there’s a press conference Friday at 5 to announce it’s a done deal.  it is all pending a cell phone records review by Hog Fans.

I think Tubby is out. It can’t be much fun being a head coach in the nutcase universe of Alabama football, even when you own the Bammeroids so totally and so completely.

Wait until Wingnut meets what Houston Nutt referred to as the “fractured fanbase in Northwest Arkansas”.  Tuberville is from Arkansas and believe it or not, Arkansas’ facilities are considered some of the top in the SEC.

  1. I think Jimmy Sexton also reps Houston Nutt.

  2. Yeah, he does. Why don’t we just let $exton just decide who is going to coach where, and after next season he can make “adjustments” for any weaknesses, all the while padding his wallet? Conflict of interest?
