Review of “Bama Profiles in Courage: Laykin”: (Capers) Barr flexes through an emotional range that most writers would never dare attempt … Humor and Bama sorrow are fused together like twined tree trunks that keep each other standing…..It’s part satire, part character study, with a wry lens on fame, fandom, and the modern South. Well done, Capers, well done.”– Ian Allen, The Times Literary Supplement.

They keep calling this place Cat-lanta, but I don’ really see it…. for the most part I just see a bunch of drunk people in blue yelling f-a-g-s FAGS FAGS FAGS! (which they decided to do every 5 minutes from 9 pm until 12 am in my hotel last night)

First off I want to say how glad I was that Bama proved me wrong and took down the Gators.  The most exciting game of day 1 goes to Ole Miss vs. UGA.  The overtime victory was just more proof that I was right and Ole Miss sucks.

So on to day 2.

Game 5 South Carolina vs. Tennessee

Tennessee wins

Game 6 Arkansas vs. Vanderbilt

As much as it pains me, Vandy’s probably gonna win.

Game 7 Bama vs. Miss. St.

Miss. St. wins

Game 8 UGA vs. Kentucky

I think Kentucky’s defense is way too strong for the dawgs.

So yesterday I told you  to come to the Fanfare and play ball against other fans.  Really it’s probably best if you just try to make fun of other fans.  You’d think with their team’s reputations Tennessee and Kentucky fans would be good ball players.  It was pretty depressing for the most part.  Work on your shooting before next year’s fanfare… we’ve got an image to uphold.
