Thank you Mr and Mrs White for raising such a fine young man. I am so glad that Pat chose to be a Mountaineer. He has the respect of the people of West Virginia not just for his football ability, but for his character as well. I am sure I speak for most West Virginian’s and Mountaineer fans everywhere when I say that Pat, and your entire family, will always be a part of our Mountaineer family.

We haven’t had the chance to get to “know” Coley yet but I have no doubt that he is just as class of an act as Pat.

God bless you and Country Roads to your family.<

people can say what they want about WVU’s former players, a few of their current ones, their coaches, etc – but there’s no denying that PW is a class act and one of the top 2-3 QB’s playing college football.

As much as Eeyore makes us all giggle like sweet little Tammy at a NKOTB reunion tour, the curtain needs to drop on the wet dream that is his vision of a WVU victory. WVU lives on the past because progress is, to them, a 4 letter word. Getting excited over beating OU like a drum would be akin to me getting excited over nailing Lohan, Hilton, Kardashian or Spears at an all night kegger…what else did you think would happen? AU is going to give a first hand bitch slap to you bearded fuckers. Plainsman, War Eagle, Tiger…who gives a damn. You Daniel Boone ass ponies will be scattering like lemmings to the New River Gorge bridge (that would be closer to Tebow than you presently are but not past the shit brick that is Tennessee), leaving a trail of burning lazy boys and mountain love sofas in your wake. Until that day happens I will laugh at your misplaced optimism while watching replays of last years Pitt game.

Hey Eeyore, last I checked Kendra never even learned to spell Heisman. 15 and NC bitch!!!

It’s a shame his parents didn’t give him the fortitude to play with a boo boo in the 2nd half of a game that could have put them in the national title game. Let’s hope for WVU’s sake this season that he doesn’t sit out a key game due to a bad haircut.

Tubs openly pushed for this so that their new QB would have more time to learn their new offense.

    “Your” wrong.

It seems there are a lot of UF people here mocking thier loss – fuck, at least they were in the running for a NC – and at least WV didn’t lose to the team that lost to App State.

WVU- West Virginia University is a farm franchise for coaching candidates interested in the University of Michigan, and it’s located in Morgantown, WV. During home football games, Mountaineer Stadium houses enough people to become the second-largest city in the state. The football team is currently coached by Rich Rodriguez Bill Stewart.

West (fuckin’ REDACTED) Virgina fans are respected throughout the nation for their class, sportsmanship and subdued celebration of major wins, and are known to give out free batteries and bottles of liquor to opposing fans and players during the game. Their main rivals are the University of Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech, even though they no longer play the Hokies. The rivalry was called off by Virginia Tech’s athletic director out of concerns for the safety of their players.

Rumors of actual academic work done at this university are highly suspicious and should be taken with a grain of salt. The only known graduates of West Virginia University are Terry Bowden and the governor’s daughter. Pacman Jones gon’ make it rain in Morgantown, ya heard?

you used a definition, and so did I.

I am suprised you are able to tear yourself away from a Major Harris highlight film long enough to even post on here. Again, gloat in beating OU in the Fiesta Bowl just like Boise State was able to. You will never win a NC. You would even have to run the table in the ruff and tuff BE and avoid stepping on those USF and Pitt landmines even to receive the honor of a SEC given beatdown in the BCS CG.

  31. WVU Avatar
    WVU

Heres a cut and paste for you, Gameboy.

Since 2000 the SEC is (6-15) versus the BIG EAST…

    BIG EAST/SEC MATCHUPS:

    2007—(2-1)
    South Fla. @ Auburn W 26-23
    Louisville @ Kentucky L 34-40
West Virginia vs. Mississippi St. W 38-13

    2006—(2-0)
    Louisville vs. Kentucky W 59-28
    West Virginia @ Mississippi St. W 42-14

    2005—(2-0)
    Louisville @ Kentucky W 31-24
West Virginia vs. Georgia W 38-35

    2004—(1-0)
    Rutgers @ Vanderbilt W 37-34

    2003—(1-1)
    Miami vs. Florida W 38-33
    Miami vs. Tennessee L 6-10

    2002—(3-3)
Virginia Tech vs. LSU W 26-8
    Miami (FL) @ Florida W 41-16
    Temple @ South Carolina L 21-42
    Syracuse @ Auburn L 34-37
    Rutgers @ Tennessee L 14-35
    Miami (FL) @ Tennessee W 26-3

    2001—(2-1)
    Syracuse @ Tennessee L 9-33
    Syracuse vs. Auburn W 31-14
    Boston College Georgia W 20-16

    2000—(2-0)
    West Virginia Mississippi W 49-38
    Miami Florida W 37-20

Another way of looking at the SEC versus the BIG EAST?…During the BCS era(the last ten seasons) there are only two SEC teams that have a winning record against the BIG EAST:

    South Carolina (1-0)
    Tennessee (4-1)
    Auburn (1-2)
    Kentucky (1-3)
    Florida (1-3)
    Vanderbilt (0-1)
    Mississippi St. (0-2)
    Alabama (0-1)
    Georgia (0-2)
    Mississippi (0-1)
    LSU (0-1)

Miami, BC, and VT all said no mas and took their asses (and all your confrence’s national titles) to the ACC. So take away 6 of those wins.

Now look at the rest of them… 6 of your wins are against perennial cellar dwellers Ole Miss, MSU, Vandy, and UK. Congrats on beating teams who consider it a great year to even go to a bowl… do you want a fucking cookie?

  33. WVU Avatar
    WVU

    a) your PC gamer subscription is about to expire

b)That just burns your ass, doesn’t it? The Conference that is the worst in the world, the ‘Big Least,’ has a winning record against the almighty and invincible SEC. Even without the Miami, BC, and VT wins. Keep in mind that your wins against a 2002 Rutgers and Temple are about as amazing. Bottom line: if all the hype is true, the SEC should have wiped the floor with these guys.

WVU why stop at 2000 when looking back at the stats? if you keep going back you will see the the SEC has a winning record vs. the Big east. anyone can mess with stats to make whoever the want to look good. Bottom Line is the SEC is the Best football, if not sports, league in the nation.
