First and formeost: AJ McCarren? Seriously? 184 pounds of Bama Bangs is most definitely not Tennessee QB material. Head on back to Mobile and start drinking some Myoplex, AJ. I hope that Saban held that scholarship for you even after you defied his edict of visiting Tennessee. It is my sincere hope that rising 5th year senior Crompton, owner of a blank stare like he would get lost in a one bedroom apartment, did not host AJ.

I think he has the raw talent but was totally bumfuzzled by the system last year, as were his teammates. I envision (hope I’m right) a Ainge/Cutcliffe type rebound year. All this hinges on my belief that Kiffin will be better at shaping his system to fit his players than Clawson was and also the fact that Crompton SHOULD be the most talented QB on our roster.
Man, they hated Erik Ainge before. Now they can’t stop comparing Cromptos to Ainge. The difference? Ainge has brain activity. Besides, Crompton had two years with Cutcliffe around and still looked like a limp meat whistle last year.
#8 needs to work on making handoffs, lining up under center and putting his mouthpiece in his mouth.
