A hot rumor out of South Carolina’s NAMBLA  recruiting camp is that Lane Kiffin promised future Brain Scientist Alshon Jeffery that he would have 80+ balls thrown his way if he came to Tennessee. Personally, I thought it was a joke when I first heard about it.

Why do I believe it’s a joke?   Can Rocket Surgeon Jon Crompton successfully throw the ball to a Wide Receiver 80  times?  Much less complete 80 passes during a season? That my friends is the bigger question
