Teddy Bridgewater and Christian LeMay are standard household names by now, but I wanted to throw some other beast studs out there for thought. All these guys are on Tennessee’s radar and could get a closer look.

Justin Worley from Rock Hill, SC – Word is he has a big future in baseball and may be going to UNC for that, but if he blows up the next couple years like he is capable of, I look for a bunch of staffs to really try and talk him into playing college football, and I like UT’s chances with Golson leaning UNC.

Michael Johnson from Memphis Briarcrest – 6-5 kid with a live arm and already almost 200 pounds. Alabama scares me with him, but if UT gets on him hard, he may be a big time prospect by the time his “time” rolls around.

Austin Brown from Mount Airy, GA – A little short at 6-1 but he has 2 years to grow. This kid has a GREAT arm and if he grows 2 or 3 inches over the next two years and adds weight, I expect him to be a BIG TIME guy. He’s a “sleeper” IMO right now, but I really like him.

Tony Daniel from Douglasville, GA – He was at UT’s skill camp. Tall kid at 6-5, I liked him with some growth. Throws the ball pretty smooth and I thought he performed well. He really needs to bulk up some, but has a couple years to do it.

CJ Uzomah from Suwanee, GA – I personally think he moves to WR full time and stays there. He could develop into a QB at the college level, but I think his future is at WR. Who knows though, he does have a nice arm.

Keep an eye also on Jake Overbey. He’s an instate kid who won’t be REALLY highly ranked, but I think he’ll get looks from UT b/c he’s solid and I think will develop nicely.

Those are a few. There are plenty others possible. I think UT will make a really strong run at Lemay. Personally, I love the Brown kid if he keeps developing. The kid just has a great arm and doesn’t have to grunt to throw it hard.

Keep in mind, you can discard any of these guys if Super Gurus nycvol010, LWSmithvol, or the always accurate Brent Hubbenstein doesn’t like them. However, at this time it’s believed they all have laser rocket arms and if they don’t have fluid hips now, they could soon develop them.
