Every time Lamison smiles  at the camera, the Vol Fan Base is ready to blow him, get congressional on him and *erect* a statue of him.  Jon Crompton tossed some sweet passes in practice  and there wasn’t nary one mention on any news outlets anywhere.  Did anyone notice?  I did and so did Wes Rucker.  Do not misdoubt Jon Crompton.  He will be Lane Kiffin’s newest Lazarus.

In my opinion….there is so much distaste and jealousy for Crompton, his natural leadership, his drive, his will to win and his innate athletic ability that people are making Lamison and Stephens out to be something that they are not: D-1 QBs….and I am telling you that Crompton is better…I just don’t see where people think the other two QBs are better though other than the fact that they simply don’t want to see Crompton succeed. That is why “they” are pushing so hard for  Gator reject Cam Newton. They would be happy with his character, today’s new generation of Vol Fan.The fan that wants instant gratification right effing now. I mean other than heaps and scroggins, no one comes close to him from a physical standpoint. he is 6’6 250 with a rocket for an arm and could really add a something to the offense with his feet.

So get off Crompton’s back people, none of you can do better.  Ignore his interceptions,  the fact he gets lost during his progressions.  This kid has moxie,  guts and a cannon for an arm.  He is the best QB in the SEC….. right now.

Name one QB who’s better, I dare you.
