Let’s face it, Tennessee Football sells itself.  That is why blue chippers traditionally lineup to play at Rocky Top. What  Kiffin and Orgeron didn’t realize was is that they didn’t  need to cheat to recruit.

I know that other schools worry that if Tennessee is allowed to retake the national spotlight that no young man will be safe from the grip of Rocky Top.

Let me say this to  my Orange Brothers and Sisters:  Jealousy of Tennessee Volunteer Football leads to nothing but self loathing and disappointment. I understand the concerns of rival schools and fans, and they are well founded. Tennessee routinely steals away recruits and it is well known that Dooley’s recruiting abilities are unmatched

Whats follows is the message of traitorous Vols Fans:  “It’s ok for Alabama, Florida, LSU, and Georgia to expect to get every 4 and 5 star, but when a VOL fan expects it, his fellow BRETHREN beat them dwn and say things like, “don’t expect us to get everybody” or “do you know what you’re talking about” but hell AL, FL and LSU do it and it has become expected around their fan base. We supposedly have the HIGHEST PAID staff in the country and expectation follow that title, so it should concern you when all these kids are looking else where, because we should have a top 3 class every year, top 10 won’t cut it.”

No young man can resist the sheen of Dooley’s gelled coif nor the opportunity to party with our basketball team. But more than that, every young man instinctively yearns for the tradition and history that only Rocky Top and General Neyland‘s Maxims can offer. Know this, that if Coach Dooley wants a 5 star recruit, nothing can stand in his way.

With each blow against us, however, we have become stronger, re-forging a football tradition unlike any other. I say that the time has come to rally the troops and show our enemies that resisting the pull of Rocky Top is futile.
