Review of “Bama Profiles in Courage: Laykin”: (Capers) Barr flexes through an emotional range that most writers would never dare attempt … Humor and Bama sorrow are fused together like twined tree trunks that keep each other standing…..It’s part satire, part character study, with a wry lens on fame, fandom, and the modern South. Well done, Capers, well done.”– Ian Allen, The Times Literary Supplement.

(Saban our money, get it?)
(Editor note, this report very similar to Frank Solich’s GHB/DUI incident) Reports out of Miami and the Tuscaloosa Free Health Clinic now indicate that Nick Saban had a hair analysis test ran and it was confirmed that he had been drugged. The GHB (Date Rape Drug) levels in his system were extremely elevated, which caused him to “pass out” within 20 minutes of the drug entering his system. GHB is known to cause drowsiness, dizziness, nausea and visual disturbances in low doses. In larger doses, the drug can cause unconsciousness, seizures, severe respiratory depression, and comas, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.

(Saban appears dizzy, glassied eyed and drowsy in this photo)
Saban has been working to have this information released to the public, but has not received the necessary full support of the Alabama Athletic Director Mal Moore. The Athletic Director is beside himself, as is Nick, and well, most of the rest of us this close to the situation. The school is a notorious party school, frequently finding themselves in the TOP 5 party schools in the US, including the last 2 years that I am aware of. They have also recently had at least 3 individuals, presumably in Tuscaloosa Chalet Ridge Mobile Home Park that have been “busted” for distributing prescription drugs to be sold via non-legal means. Interestingly, the bartender at a local establishment is a hippy child, who happens to be the long time trailer park resident in Tuscaloosa area that has access to this drug, GHB.

(Nick we understand now, we understand it is not your fault)

(Saban appears disoriented and confused in his surroundings)

(Nick Saban is such a bad boy!!!!)

(Remember, Mike Price was fired for this behavior)

This is a conspiracy. A conspiracy to restore Bama to its rightful place. Hook or crook, Bama has not held back. While we would be shocked if the local DA or University is willing to investigate any further that to find a way to NOT implicate the locals, the facts of this “incident” will eventually be released. It may come to light when Nick finally has had enough and goes public himself, after he comes to his senses (if that everoccurs) and realize what a jam he has gotten into by quitting the Dolphins to coach Alabama.

A prudent man can clearly see from the photos that Saban is under the influence of some type of substance. In fact, Mike Price was fired for performing the very acts that Saban is performing with the woman in those pictures. Saban appears to be urged to participate in this less than Baptist behavior. There is an obvious conspiracy to keep Saban in the Bama fold with incriminating photos and designer drugs. Realistically, it could take Saban years to “wake up”. Case in point, it took Bama Coach Dennis Franchione 2 full seasons to realize that there was something funny in the water. Of course, Coach Fran is persona non grata in Alabama for doing to Bama exactly what Saban has done to the Dolphins.

Further proof of the conspiracy. Note the arrows on the photo below:

  1. The ugliest houndstooth ball cap
  2. The unsavory behavior that got Mike Price canned Here is more info on our Bama Honey link

Saban looks drunk maybe a little stoned in that picture. For 32 million I guess you can scrap that schwag and get some of that real deal White Pearl that you only smoke outof bowls . Not that I would know anything about that. Just an assumption.

On second thought in that picture he could be saying:

    “Damn, I’m high”

The finger pointing upward is my context clue to the assumption.

  3. Or the one finger means the number of the seasons that he plans on coaching at Bama

  4. you viles are pathetic….

  5. Interesting spin on things with nice photography at the top. Cool blog.

  6. How can $aban instill discipline when he isn’t a trusted man. Alabama will wish they had a disciplined team like the one Sylvester Croom fields.

  7. Does the Drunk Bammer Chick’s jersey say “IMSOHOTTIE” on the back? Mrs. Saban is probably rolling over in her grave.

  8. Many have called Saban a liar for saying in December “I will not be the head coach at Alabama,” but Saban said at the time, it was true. He was trying to focus on Miami, not on rumors.

Stick to your guns Nicky, don’t fold under pressure Nicky just because the media backs you in a corner. Ibet that the pressure will be less in Tuscaloosa and the fans are much more forgiving.

Gene Swindoll, I am the master of discipline…

  9. I bet ms saban is thinking 3-some.

  10. He also said that while he understands he left Miami without fulfilling his contract, he thinks the Dolphins are in better shape. (Each time he dicks an organization, he uses this rationalization)

“I gave my best effort for two years to do that,” Saban said. “I think the organization and the team is better for that. (Are you overrated?)

“It was premature for me to leave. At the same time, if I knew that my heart was someplace else in terms of what I wanted to do, I don’t think it would have been fair to the organization if I stayed.” (Of course it was premature, it was at MSU, LSU and Toledo. It will be premature when you leave Alabama. Bammers don’t kid yourself, history has a funny way of repeating)

Yeah but before he leaves he’ll have Bama back near the top.

He can still coach circles around Fill-Up Fulmer, or Fill-Up “Mediorce” Fulmer, or Fill-Up “I get top 5 talent and produce teams out of the top 25” Fulmer.

I could do this all day.

  12. read it and laugh

  13. Indeed Danny. Its like the Bammers won the Iron Bowl or something…

  14. Nick Saban came to Bama because Bama’s band could be the best marching band in the SEC with the right coaching.

  15. they are the million dollar band my friend

  16. But Texas A & M’s band is better right or wrong?

  17. Saban left 23 assistant coaches in the lurch at Miami…Wow

  18. Propst, what he said on Dec 21 was complete BS. There was not a grain of truth to it. A very well known and very well connected HC in the SEC told me that the assts had long sense been contacted. He had already been LONG calling assts to see who would go to Alabama with him. BTW, several are balking at this moment.

  19. DKW, the problem is that nobody wants to work for the guy

  20. Nobody wants to work for Wayne Huizenga, either.
