As I was going through my morning constitution, I realized that I am going to miss the Cardinals and the Big East ESPN/BCS hype. I felt a little sad. What else is there to bitch about? If Louisville is good enough to be hyped for the MNC (Thanks again ESPN. You are dirty whores) then why not Boise State or Rutgers? I really don’t see any glaring differences other than Boise is not in the Big East (Boise not a Big East Team so no ESPN Media push).
Rutgers must be inserted into the U of L’s #3 BCS Position. They are most certainly a cookie cutter template of the prototypical powerhouse Big East Team.
We say to hell with Florida and Texas. They have one loss, so fuck them. Boise, Rutgers, Michigan, and OSU are the remaining. Who really gives two shits if Rutgers and Boise have not played anyone? I sure as hell don’t. Florida and Texas? The brutal weekly conference schedules don’t mean diddley to us. Memo to Urban and Mack: Want to be in the BCS National Championship hunt? Join the Big East.
