We normally don’t write about NASCAR unless there is a way to incorporate Ricky Bobby in a post. But we received an amazing email from Juan Garcia-Abrego, our Springdale Arkansas Mitch Mustain ‘Spy’, with this NASCAR-themed Fans Against Racing Toyotas (FART). Digging around I was able to locate some pictures of FART Parties that are best described as Pan American Gold.

The FART Website identifies and calls out drivers that have “sold out” to drive Japanese (T-Yota) race cars instead of American race cars. FART lists the following gas burners: Waltrip, Hendricks, Jarrett and of course Talladega Nights Ricky Bobby inspiration Mike “The Magic Man” Skinner as drivers that prefer flatulence producing finger foods such as pork rinds, pigs feet, boiled eggs and PBR.

    I know I’ll get roasted for this. American companies have been putting out shitty cars for years. We own the market on quality SUVs and trucks. All the people I know who own Tauruses, Monte Carlos, or Impalas just bitch and moan about unreliability.

    If people want to attend FART parties to feel patriotic, go ahead. But if I drive by…

    Now I guess I should of gone ahead and run
    But somehow I just couldn’t resist the fun

    then I figgered I had better go ahead and split before the cops got there

    I couldn’t help it. When I see more than three rednecks in a parking lot, that song pops in my head.

    Let’s be honest for a second.. the only reason this group or this issue is notable because it happens to have a sophomorically funny anchronism… i can’t believe people are actually upset about the brand names of cars in racing.. get a hobby, people.. collect rocks, stamps, something..
