Review of “Bama Profiles in Courage: Laykin”: (Capers) Barr flexes through an emotional range that most writers would never dare attempt … Humor and Bama sorrow are fused together like twined tree trunks that keep each other standing…..It’s part satire, part character study, with a wry lens on fame, fandom, and the modern South. Corey Brewer and the Florida Ganja Gators celebrated last night after their 76-66 win over UCLA in the NCAA Semifinals in Atlanta. Little did Brewer know he would be attacked and kissed by a wild tranny that made its way onto the basketball floor. Brewer was not injured in the exchange and was actually seen giving out his hotel room card key to the aggressor after the incident. Brewer had 19 points in the game and was hoping to score a few more times back at the team hotel.
