Review of “Bama Profiles in Courage: Laykin”: (Capers) Barr flexes through an emotional range that most writers would never dare attempt … Humor and Bama sorrow are fused together like twined tree trunks that keep each other standing…..It’s part satire, part character study, with a wry lens on fame, fandom, and the modern South. Well done, Capers, well done.”– Ian Allen, The Times Literary Supplement.

Props to Ron Zook. The University of Florida dominated the 7th round of the draft and free agency in last weekend’s NFL Draft with a total of 19 players.

As predicted Chris “4.5 40 Hookslide” Leak went undrafted [Cowherd]. Even OSU’s Troy Smith was drafted ahead of Courageous Chris. Not all is lost, Courageous Hookslide is going to join the Bears as a free agent where he can learn what it takes to be a Superbowl quarterback from fellow Gator QB Rex Grossman. After he is cut by the Bears, Chris Carries a Clipboard Courageously in Calgary Canada will join the CFL in a more viable option. Until that day, check out Florida’s Fantasy Football Camp: Link to more fun and no piss tests

What is Denver thinking? Drafting Medicinal Mota Marcus Thomas and Jarvis Moss together? This is a formula for failure for these two loveable puffers shotgun partners. Denver is located on one of the main illegal narcotics shipment corridors in the United States from the Southwest Border. The NFL should go ahead and frontload the substance suspension paperwork as these dopers put the high back in Mile High.

Isn’t it legal to posses mota in Denver if it is under 1 oz? If so then Denver was the only city that could draft Herban’s finest without future Cincy Bengals-like legal consequences.

  3. It’s not quite legal, but rather “de-criminalized” like in the UK. A buddy of mine forgot he had a little in his carry-on bag at Denver Airport, got caught, and the fine was only $50 or so. We actually just voted on making >1oz. legal last November (for those over 21)…but it didn’t pass.

Great news, the gators lost 19 players. FSU only had four leave and they were all drafted so we can’t top the gators here.

Only thing is we are wondering which freshman they will throw in the meat grinder next year. The vengenance tour is on schedule!
