Review of “Bama Profiles in Courage: Laykin”: (Capers) Barr flexes through an emotional range that most writers would never dare attempt … Humor and Bama sorrow are fused together like twined tree trunks that keep each other standing…..It’s part satire, part character study, with a wry lens on fame, fandom, and the modern South. Well done, Capers, well done.”– Ian Allen, The Times Literary Supplement.

DALLAS (FWAA) – The Football Writers Association of America has announced the Watch List for the 2007 Bronko Nagurski Trophy, which is awarded to the best defensive player in college football and is sponsored by the Charlotte Touchdown Club. [FWAA]

I counted 3 BCS B-List  (Big East Conference) players:  Louisville, Rutgers and South Florida (Oddly, no one from WVU) that should have no chance at all of winning this.  Besides the Big East is geigh. Most of their obnoxious fans are geigh too.   The Big East players can’t help it.  Almost as if they were an after-thought by the Big Boy Schools.  Mark May’s dick  is growing with each and every BCS B-List  shout. Sorta like pinnochio.  But only different.

Hopefully, the ESPN Dicks will just  STFU about the Big East players despite the fact these players will have some gaudy stats playing against the Hofstras of the world.  Or Hell just playing against other Big East Teams should drive the stats up  too.

I would expect that Tom Zbikowski, Notre Dame will receive a lot of sympathy votes.  Sympathy, because Notre Dame is going to suckth worse than usual.  Conventional  wisdom would make James Laurinaitis, Ohio State the odds-on favorite despite being embarrassed by SEC speed during the NC Game.

(this must be from the play where the Buckeyes stomped on his ass, Go Bucks!!)

I counted 5 players from the SEC is clearly superior.  A special award is being developed for the player that tattoos “riddell” into The Bow’s sternum.
