In the wake of finding out that Dan Patrick will not be taking over for Bob Barker on the PIR, I thought, why not make a list of the top ten sports personalities that should host the Price is Right…? So I did, and without further ado…Here they are from 10-1…Enjoy!

7. Harold Reynolds: You know he wouldn’t get weirded out by random women wanting to hug him…
6. Ugueth Urbina: Oh yeah…I forgot…I doubt he’s available…Or a very safe option…Can you imagine how much life insurance rates would shoot up for anyone attending the show…?
5. Adam Sandler (Happy Gilmore): Sure Adam’s not a sports personality, but Happy is…And can you really argue that he doesn’t at least deserves a shot on the other side of that beat down…
4. Tommy Lasorda: Go ahead…Tell me that this wouldn’t be transcendent comedy…Can you? Didn’t think so…
3. Pete Rose: He would make the games so much more meaningful, not to mention entertaining, for the contestants…I can see it now…”I give you 3 to 1 odds you won’t win that Chevy Cavalier”…
2. Jim Mora: Simply because I would get to hear this line…”What’s that? Oh come on now. Showcase Showdown? Don’t talk about– Showcase Showdown? You kidding me? Showcase Showdown? I just hope you can spin the wheel!”
