Kiss my ass Colin Cowherd. I consider myself to be married West Virginia Football, “Til death do us part”. I say that the time has come to rally the troops and show our enemies (Cowherd) that resisting the pull of the Eers is futile. I highly suggest you review Colin Cowherd’s stereotypical rant from Tuesday August 7th against West Virginia and it’s people.
Is this the kind of journalism ESPN and ESPN Radio endorses?
I highly suggest everyone email their local ESPN radio affiliate who carries Cowherd and let them know you will no longer listen to their station specifically because of Cowherd and his bigoted statements against our state and our people.
Also drop a line to the mother company ESPN.
I KNOW COWHERD IS USUALLY EXTREME AND ATTENTION DRIVEN, HOWEVER TODAY’S SHOW AND HIS COMMENTARY WERE EXTREME AND OVER THE LINE.
He stated our entire state is full of banjo playing, moonshine drinking, basically inbred rednecks.
He stated EVERYONE in our state LOOKS LIKE THE PEOPLE FROM THE GEICO COMMERCIALS.
Stated we have no commerce (also stated at least Arkansas has Walmart) except for Unicorn T shirt shops.
He stated that if you take him to any town in West Virginia he guarantees the nicest house will have washing machines and other crap on their front porch or yard.
Stated everyone from our state was “crazy” and basically incoherent.
THIS WAS SAID ON A NATIONAL RADIO SHOW.
ASK YOURSELF THIS QUESTION: If this was said about any other cultural group in the USA, what would the response be?
COWHERD Must be HELD ACCOUNTABLE and FIRED from his job JUST LIKE IMUS.
The stereotypes and bigotry against our PEOPLE and OUR GREAT STATE have gone on long enough.
