You can’t spell “YOU SUCK” without “O-S-U.”

What more can I say that I have not already said. tOSU Failboats had no business being a BCS Bowl, and it really showed. The Failboats 0-9 Bowl Record versus the SEC is comedy.

What will the excuse be this year?  “if the punt…” or “if he had not dropped that pass…” or my soon to be favorite “if we didn’t have 5 personal foul penalties”.

It is hard to pick out the best parts of last night. Was it ESPN’s tOSU’s redemption angles from last year’s beatdown? Was it Corso trying to defend the Failboats schedule after the beatdown? Was it Herbie teetering on the precipice of an emotional meltdown? Or was it all of the Buckeye fans wearing OSU jerseys and the buckeye necklaces with the “Oh Shit here it comes again” facial expressions?

The anguish and pain were priceless, it does my heart good to see Buckeye fans the nation over weeping. Especially after all of the pre-game talk/hype, I just love seeing those Ohio Sate players and fans walk away disappointed.

Congrats to LSU!

The SEC is a trial-by-fire conference. They should be represented in the championship every year, and usually dominate when they are.

LSU, Florida, UGA, Auburn, Tennessee, What team wants to have ANY of these teams in their schedule? I bet that the Big 10 doesn’t.

    It wasn’t an excuse. Just stating the obvious. OSU would have saved themselves all this pain if WVU and Mizzou had taken care of their business. Instead everyone around the country pretends that Troy Smith, Ted Ginn and Anthony Gonzalez were on this team again this season.

    The Buckeyes were an underdog for a reason this year. They choked and didn’t show up aganst FLA last year, but this was supposed to be OSU’s rebuilding year. LSU was the better team. People forget that OSU was supposed to finish 3rd in the Big 11 behind Michigan and Wisconsin.

    They actually overachieved this season, but that doesn’t help with the national perception.

    That doesn’t even make sense. Hawaii was undefeated and wanted consideration. Ohio State just sat there as everyone else handed it to them. Save that hate for WVU, Mizzou and the BCS.

    i am open to a possible playoff, but why issue this statement now? i notice he did not address his team’s failure to win the SEC, much les the SEC Eastern Fucking Division. If he is so disgusted with this “beauty pagent” then who would decide who the 8 playoff teams should be?

    last year, LSU was in a similar situation UGA was in this year. Two earlier losses, finished the season on a roll but did not win its division, went to Sugar Bowl and destroyed its opponent, yada yada yada. yet i do not recall as much belly aching from LSU fans that we should have been in the game.

    I agree with you, you can’t be the mythical national champion if you can’t even win your own conference, but one of LSU’s losses last year was to UF, UGA never got a chance to play LSU. But that is UGA’s fault; they shouldn’t have lost early in the season.

    Still lobbying for a 1-2 finish for LSU-UGA though.

    Auburn beat Florida on a last second FG and has 2 losses to unranked teams. Of UF’s losses, no team that beat them is ranked lower than 18th (Mich.).

    Auburn is 2 spots behind them. Get over it.

    It doesn’t make sense for UF to be ranked ahead of Auburn. Auburn did not have a bad loss either. Yes it was a last second field goal that beat UF, but it was in the swamp (where no one but UF wins). I realize that the only place that counts is #1, but UF finishing ahead of AU after lossing to the team that lost to Appy ST is just fucking retarded. MEDIA BIAS.

    My only problem is that Miles and Urban have too much class OSU, in 2008 if OSU makes it agians whatever SEC is playing needs to borrow Spurrier for the 4th quarter, you know a real S.O.B. leet the visor coach Florida or UGA or LSU and drop 40 in the 4th so the Boucks can get the beating they so richly deserve.

    Yeah, UF had the ball inside the 10 last year but let time run out. I would have tacked on another TD to make it 49-14 just as a big – “EFF YOU!” – to all of the people, “experts” and OSU fans that doubted them and the SEC.

    I was glad to see LSU score that one late TD last night to make it 38-17 at the time.

    Kinda dick that Adams put the story out today.. Because they are right.. It’s LSU’s day and the SEC’s day..

    But on the flip side.. I’m hoping next year these dark horse wanna be juggernaut teams like Hawaii and the Failboats stay at home.. OSU is a big school, with a half decent group of players.. They just suffer because of a shitty conference, but they suffer mostly because they aren’t as good as the other conferences..

    It’s unfair to be in a fairytale world for weekend after weekend, only to wake up and realize you’ve been practicing with the Pop Warner teams of the league, and now you have to play the top teams.

    Hopefully this will make the voters think harder next year when they go to argue the case for another team with a cupcake record that even too is blemished.

    As far as end of season.. if UGA isn’t Top 3, I’ll shit my pants.. With the young talent they have, and a showing they made in a season that was to be a “build up” year.. There is an ass stomping to be had by, if they can maintain that tough as nails road schedule.

    This playoff talk is a “political” move my UGA president Mike Adams. You see, very few UGA fans like Adams. Check. No one likes Adams. He treated Dooley poorly and hired Jim Harrick a few years ago. Adams is one of the main players who wants to change the name of the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party to something else. Adams created an alcohol free tailgate area on campus for gameday. Needless to say, it was empty.

    WVU has to deal with Auburn next year. They are explosive on offense, but I think Auburn has a strong enough D to slow them down. WVU loses a lot on D this season, so I feel that gives Auburn a slight edge going into the game.

    The last thing the Pac10, Big Teneleven, and the Big East and their supporters want to see is an 8-team playoff that could include 3 – 4 SEC teams. Considering that a playoff would yield nearly as many all-SEC championship games at the SECCG itself, they would not gain anything from a playoff. Only the SEC would benefit from a playoff.

    Mark May is the whiniest asshat on television.
