Former Auburn and Troy  Offensive Coordinator Tony Franklin apparently was none too happy about his dismissal. Allegedly he called every opponent’s HC before the game the rest of the season, and gave them a detailed inside look at the offensive schemes and  playcalls, which is why the Branners got totally shellacked along the way. Here’s the most interesting part: Mark Richt called Tubby and let him know that Franklin had just given him the scoop on the offensive plays, and told Tubby to change his play nomenclature before the game. Mark had a real problem with what Franklin did. I thought that was pretty interesting, and I don’t think you’ll see Franklin back in the SEC in any fashion ever again.
