Review of “Bama Profiles in Courage: Laykin”: (Capers) Barr flexes through an emotional range that most writers would never dare attempt … Humor and Bama sorrow are fused together like twined tree trunks that keep each other standing…..It’s part satire, part character study, with a wry lens on fame, fandom, and the modern South. Well done, Capers, well done.”– Ian Allen, The Times Literary Supplement.

I am taking a moment away from my Bama research to comment on the Purdue reffing debacle.

9 Seconds

Shout out to Purdue’s Zach Edey. It takes a generational player to be the most physical player in the sport, draw 15 fouls, and only get called for 1 (and no travels, moving screens, or 3-second violations). Maybe he is just an unlikeable person?

Since advancing to the Final Four, Zach Edey has: 1) Yelled a sexual comment from a floor celebration 2) Dropped an f-bomb in a postgame TV interview 3) Called out one of the classiest & kindest coaches in CBB for overlooking him in recruiting.

idiot

Only the blind can not see that this is the NCAA counterattacking Tennessee after the NIL Federal Court loss. Control the refs, control the game results
