How stupid are you if you are willing to follow this Gus Guru around to the armpits of college football? Do you not care about your own future? Tulsa? WTF are you thinking Mustain? Are you too busy working on that next metal masterpiece to think about your futbol future? Oh sure, “The System Has Failed” was your best album since “Countdown to Extinction” but are you so f&^%ing cocky that you think you can take Tulsa to the BCS? I never really understood how you could still be in high school anyway. I remember watching the “Peace Sells” video when I was in elementary school and you were in your twenties then. I hear the next album is going to be killer. But you should tell your mom to STFU and stay out of your business. Megadeth rules!
Razorback fans, don’t sit there and say you didn’t see this coming. Since the year Springdale won the state title you have treated this coach and his players like rock stars. The only thing they’ve proved is that they were good at the high school level. You have fed their egos constantly, resulting in boys, not men, acting like they’ve earned the right skip the college level and go straight to the pros. Beyond that, they have earned nothing! Because they have a state championship doesn’t mean they should be at the front of the line when it comes to treatment. I’ve been able to view this episode from outside the box. I’ve had the advantage of growing up in a larger town where there was always a high school team like the Bulldogs. However, they were always treated like students first and were never allowed to act the way these kids are acting. But, I not only blame the players and their parents, I blame all of you too. Players, grow up and stop following your coach around. He’s not your daddy. Be men and go find your own identity. Try to earn what you get, don’t expect it. Forget about what you’ve accomplished in high school. It doesn’t matter and only cowards live in the past. And most important, stop listening to the people of NW Arkansas because most of them don’t know what it’s like to be anywhere else. To them your a rock star.
