Review of “Bama Profiles in Courage: Laykin”: (Capers) Barr flexes through an emotional range that most writers would never dare attempt … Humor and Bama sorrow are fused together like twined tree trunks that keep each other standing…..It’s part satire, part character study, with a wry lens on fame, fandom, and the modern South. Well done, Capers, well done.”– Ian Allen, The Times Literary Supplement.

Watching the Trooper Taylor saga unfold on Tennessee Message Boards is delightful. These fans believe that the message boards make and break Tennessee Football. As if Fulmer, AD Mike Hamilton, and each and every recruit are taking what these freaks to heart.

Trooper is looking around or being looked at for other schools.  Most likely he is  pulling a  “Rod” on Fulmer.  You know, like when Rich Rodriguez strung Mal Moore out for  days on a decision to come to Alabama and eventually ended up getting a big pay raise to stay in West Virigina.

I think Vols Fans, as a whole, are the dumbest group of people in the nation. Being a native Tennessean, I can say that with confidence and without bias. Which leads to this: College Football. You people got to grow up and realize that the Vols are a team of kids. Many still in their teens. Our state would be a much better place if people would focus their attention on things that matter. If you want to get rid of Fulmer, a very simple solution exists: don’t go to games, don’t watch the games, don’t read Blogs like this, stop posting stuff on message boards, and go buy some Vandy hats. One more thing to consider, it’s the ones with the deepest pockets that are heard the loudest.
