Urban “Herban” Meyer will no doubt be ridiculed for his decision to let his players play the game, great men often are, but true fans recognize the service he has given to his school and his team. We should all learn from Meyer’s shining example and show our appreciation and love for the Gator Nation. Next time you run into a Gator player make sure to buy him a drink or a joint or an assault rifle or heck why not buy all three? Just tell that Gator not to worry about that drive home, Coach has him covered.

In the rare case where “Coach” can’t cover the player, what are the remaining options for “Coach”?  Not many, because Meyer can usually cover his players; unless the liberal left wing media does another drive-by story on outlaw football programs (Barry Switzer smiles) like Florida. Remember Marcus Thomas and his multiple failed piss tests? Meyer was painted into a corner. Like a rat, Meyer fought back and Thomas paid the price with ultimately being kicked off the team. Under Meyer’s revolutionary program, the homeless in Gainesville, Florida are going to get one-way tickets out of town. (Oddly this is a Columbia South Carolina story) Who lives in Columbia these days? Is Meyer a puppet for Spurrier? [Link] That’s SOME placement program UF has for their recent [and almost] graduates.

Will bus tickets be extended to the rejects of Herban Meyer’s football team? Players that were not starters but later became examples of Meyer’s complicated but effective discipline program? Or starters that that just got to much publicity [Marcus Thomas]? Or the really dumb players [Chris Wonder-Leak]? Can beds be fashioned from Joakim Noah’s ponytail?
