I think they probably would have eventually run him off after a few consecutive losses to Auburn. That seems to be the trend there (Curry, DuBose, Shula, etc.) And with the exception of Gene Stallings, no coach has lasted more than 5 years there. I’d be surprised if Saban lasts that long.

Bammers, keep your trophies polished, thats all you gonna get from now on.

And it’d help if they quit firing coaches that didn’t go 11-1 in their first season, the general impression I get is how Indiana Basketball was after Bobby Knight, big time expectations, without the brains or know-how to back it up.

    He would have considered going to T-Town if the truly wanted him but not if he had to “formally interview”…

    I guess he just expected the Bammers to hand it to him…

    Fat Ass does have a ring. And while I feel similarly about him as I would feel about a hot woman who was born with no vagina, he’s way better than Saban — who is of similar standing in society outside of Tuscaloosa as people who write parking tickets and child molesters.

    At least start the second paragraph with” Had Bama hired Bowden.” Currently, the way it reads makes it seem like you are still discussing Bear Bryant.
    Also, what is worse:
    Firing your coach every three years or keeping around a fat retard who thinks running off tackle is the most revolutionary concept in football? Fulmer should have been fired five years ago. He sucks.
