I think they probably would have eventually run him off after a few consecutive losses to Auburn. That seems to be the trend there (Curry, DuBose, Shula, etc.) And with the exception of Gene Stallings, no coach has lasted more than 5 years there. I’d be surprised if Saban lasts that long.
Bammers, keep your trophies polished, thats all you gonna get from now on.
And it’d help if they quit firing coaches that didn’t go 11-1 in their first season, the general impression I get is how Indiana Basketball was after Bobby Knight, big time expectations, without the brains or know-how to back it up.
