Review of “Bama Profiles in Courage: Laykin”: (Capers) Barr flexes through an emotional range that most writers would never dare attempt … Humor and Bama sorrow are fused together like twined tree trunks that keep each other standing…..It’s part satire, part character study, with a wry lens on fame, fandom, and the modern South. Well done, Capers, well done.”– Ian Allen, The Times Literary Supplement.

Here is a photo of a fully mature female Bammeroid and her litter. They are visiting what is considered to be the holiest of holy grounds in Bammer-Land. Each Bammeroid is expected to make a visit to this shrine for 12 days, 12 which happens to coincide with the number of national championships that Bammeroids claim to own.

Days and national championships are like dog years (also known as Bammer Math) to Bammeroids. Most normal people it would equate to a 1:4 ratio. So in real people time, this Bammeroid and her litter were there for 3 days only. Same math applies to the number of national championships

  1. Kid on the right looks like he’s sporting a crooked boner poking thru his shirttail.

  2. The museum is located in a double-wide.

  3. Compelling question most asked in Alabama. “I’f I divorce my wife, wiil she still be my sister?’

  4. Compelling question- how does it feel to get your ass beat???

  5. I will bet money that some how some way, a Bammer Booster, paid off someone to influence the outcome of the game.

Just like the old days: Bama’s Back!!!

  6. Those text books were a “gift”

  7. Yes, Ears, no way the Tide just lined up and punched the Vols in the mouth. It had to be the refs. Especially on that “late hit” before the half. You know, the call that led to the last points the Vols scored in the game? It’s amazing how refs, not laying a second half egg, influenced that game.
