The Arkansas Media is going wild with it…Houston Nutt is out. All major television and radio stations and every single message board is confirming (ProNutt and
Anti-Nutt). ABC, CBS, NBC. Man, oh man, poor Baylor. [Link to some wild shit]
All of Arkansas is heard saying, “go ahead, I’m a “Fighter and a Winner Boy”, take all the time you need. Matter of fact, quit if you want. That’s fine with us.” Jimmy Sexton, Nutt’s agent, denied reports claiming that Nutt intends to leave Arkansas for another school (Baylor) after next Friday’s regular-season finale at top-ranked LSU.
In keeping with recent celebrity trends, it is rumored that Arkansas Chancellor John White may have informed Coach Nutt of his pending termination by text message last week. Last year, in a strikingly similar situation, pop culture icon K-Fed received a disturbing text message while at dinner with homies, Nutt also got some unnerving news of his own, while dining out.
Now it seems all but confirmed, Nutt is gone [link].
This is not particularly amazing news based on Nutt’s text messaging history[link].
After all of the shit that Houston has drug the Arkansas Program through, it is really amazing that he has remained the head coach this long. Can someone please step into White’s office and yell “Boo”? And please fumble with your cellphone while calling 911. This guy does not even know that ESPN has a 2nd channel. And ask yourself this… Would you let him drive you to the final 4 in your car? I didn’t think so.

The fans didn’t run this inept coach and his posse off. He did it to himself. This phony never learned how to take responsibility for his shortcomings. And the only bowl game he ever won was against Missouri, which three years later is in position to possibly play in the BCS championship game. Where are the Hogs going to be this December? Back in Shreveport at best? More than likely, NOWHERE. Nutt wasn’t a D1 college quarterback and he darn sure isn’t a D1 head coach.
After Nutt is gone, the Hog fans can welcome the new coach with some good ole fashioned cock and ball torture while tossing money at him (Saban)….that would be amusing.
Just don’t drive the prospective new coach through the apocalyptically horrific local Arkansas countryside (Healing Springs) that could scare the bejesus out of him and his family. One can speculate that gutted mobile homes and abandoned autos will not be his cup of tea. If the sight of cow pastures and chicken farms don’t scare him away first, the Healing Springs Rite of Passage will.
