Apparently you have to discuss politics to win certain Hugo Chavez type elections, so I’ll play the game. The audio isn’t the best in this video but you can read the comments confirming what Obama said here.

A tFailboat co-worker of gave me a heads up on this… Democratic front-runner Barack Obama addressed the audience at the University of Cincinnati as the Bobcats instead of the Bearcats. It kind of shows where you and your 2nd rate conference stand in the college sports world when the potential next leader of the free world doesn’t even bother to learn your mascot’s name. Cincy finished 3rd in the Big Least football standings this year, and their accomplishments still aren’t worth noticing because they play in a B-list conference on ESPN2 on Thursday Nights.

This can only be topped if Hillary goes to Pitt, the owners of West Virginia athletic pride, and calls them the Lions.

The Big East… irrelevant to the rest of the world since 1991.

  1. Obama is the candidate of the mentally weak and easily fascinated.

  2. Why is everybody always so up in arms over the Big East playing on Thursdays?

That’s when JV squads traditionally play their games…
