Stay beautiful Lil Rebs, cuz the football team will be ugly for while longer
Houston Dale Nutt is already making the same mistakes his predecessor did, but putting his D-Line’s eggs in Jerrell Powe’s basket. Ask The 0 how that worked out for him.
Jerrell Powe is on track to complete the required academic work with only ten days of school left. Will apply for him to be eligible to compete with the rest of the team. – Nutt at Ole Most Alumni Meeting in ATL.
[More delusional than Bammeroids?]
Jerrell Powe and the Mascotless are already 0-3 when it comes to getting this non-reading beast of a D-Tackle cleared by the NCAA, so why are they rolling the dice again? Who fucking knows? This is HDN running the show, not some USC cast-a-way in Special Ed Orgeron. Powe hasn’t played a down of organized football since the Carter administration, but the Mascotless still think this dude can play.
His weight has ballooned from 322 when he originally signed with Ole Miss back in ’91 to 381 after a record 1,000 visits to Abner’s and now he is down to 343 according to the Ole Miss NAMBLA chapter. Apparently he switched from the fried to the grilled Abner’s chicken tenders after Nutt arrived. Even if Jerrell Powe is in playing condition, there is no way he is at the 5 Star DT level he was when he signed way back when.
Why the hell did Nutt move from Ar-kansas to Ole Mrs. anyways? The fan base is nearly as delusional but then there is that little pesky thing you have to deal with called in-state competition. Don’t fool yourselves Lil Rebs, Ole Most is the 3rd best program in the state right now, maybe even 4th behind the Delta State Fightin’ Okra.
What recruits the Barn and UAT don’t take from the north and central part of the state and what LSU doesn’t take from the Coast Trash area of the state leaves very little talent for 3 schools to fight over. At least at U of Ark you get 90% of the talent from the entire state, and I haven’t seen any hot ass TV reporters that I would have an extramarital affair with in Mississippi.
