Review of “Bama Profiles in Courage: Laykin”: (Capers) Barr flexes through an emotional range that most writers would never dare attempt … Humor and Bama sorrow are fused together like twined tree trunks that keep each other standing…..It’s part satire, part character study, with a wry lens on fame, fandom, and the modern South. Well done, Capers, well done.”– Ian Allen, The Times Literary Supplement.

As summer approaches and high schools start their spring practices, it’s time for some select beast-studs with extremely fluid hips to make a commitment, since some like to get that out of the way. After all, you can’t have things like college choices interfering with your beast stud enhancement training.

So now that Tennessee has had it’s camps, gotten visits and made some offers, now is a good time to look at who may be the next few freakish athletes to commit to the Vols.

No, this is not an official LWS scoop of all of the media embaciles around Knoxville that we normally have, it’s merely speculation. You will not be able to verify this with the KNS or any of the idiots on 99.1, because they are busy accepting awards for shit we’ve broken.

1. Matt Milton – This 3 star Illinois WR has been rumored to really like the Vols staff and could possibly commit later this month. It’s unclear what Milton’s main reason for loving the Vols is, but I am going with his probable dislike of slow inept teammates that he would have at Illinois or another Big 10 or Big 12 school he’s been offered by. SEC Speed, it sells.

2. Chase Rettig – In all probability, Jesse Scroggins is headed to USC. I know, it’s hard for some people to accept that, but it’s likely to happen. When it does, look for Chase Rettig to announce his undying love for Tennessee. Rettig recently told a Knox media personality he was close to committing to Boston College, but his saying he’s waiting on Scroggins to do something the last few months tells me that’s horseshit. Scroggins commits to USC, Rettig picks the Vols, if not the same day then shortly after.  Rettig has gotten a ringing endorsement from the Road Warrior himself, Casey Clausen.  That’s a good thing, since Casey made “The Swamp” UT’s second home while he was a Vol.

3.  Prince Shembo – Listed as a DE, Shembo will likely translate to a prototypical beast stud OLB in college.  Fluid hips, quick feet and good size all will make Shembo a great get for the Vols if he in fact commits.  Being from nearby North Carolina helps, as done the need to sign a couple linebackers in the 2010 class.  Clemson and LSU both think Shembo has them very high, but I think Shembo will realize one set of Tigers never win anything and the other wears yellow and purple indicating a very high population of homosexuals.

Other names to keep an eye on in the coming months are Markeith Ambles, John Cullen and Desmond Brown.  All three have had other favorites, but have had strong things to say about the Vols as well.

As always, Bama cheats, Herban cries and Richt prays non stop.

Um, yeah…I think uh, the Big Orange will look forward to starting a true freshman QB in 2010. Yeah. And, yeah. His name will not be Case Rettig. He will be in Boston on Saturdays…yeah.
