Review of “Bama Profiles in Courage: Laykin”: (Capers) Barr flexes through an emotional range that most writers would never dare attempt … Humor and Bama sorrow are fused together like twined tree trunks that keep each other standing…..It’s part satire, part character study, with a wry lens on fame, fandom, and the modern South. Well done, Capers, well done.”– Ian Allen, The Times Literary Supplement.

SI’s Peter King took a day-off from slurping the greatness of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots to rank the quarterbacks in the NFL, 1-32.

This list, like many others, is meaningless and has no real value. What this list fails to do is generate any sort of discussion. There is nothing on this list that makes you raise your eyebrows, aside from the fact that King put his manlove for Tom Brady aside for a moment and named Peyton Manning the best quarterback in the league (seriously.. Peter King gets paid to do this…).

Who’s the worst starting quarterback in the league? Alabama’s own Brodie Croyle. Roll Tide.
