From the National Weather Service for North and NE Mississippi: Oxford, MS – In the event tornadoes sweep through the state of Mississippi , all residents of North Mississippi are urged to take shelter at the Ole Miss Football Stadium. It is highly unlikely a touchdown will occur there.

I don’t understand it really. How is The 0 still around in Oxford? This past weekend was the first time since August the Rebels haven’t lost in back to back weeks (bye weekend bitches!) and there still seems to be a who gives a damn attitude in Oxford. The Mascotless are pumped that basketball season is here because Ole Miss is such a historically dominant basketball school (one Sweet 16 appearance). Most of the Ole Miss faithful are conviently ignoring Sly Croom’s success in Stark-ghanistan. Everyone knows why they are doing this because Ole Miss is the fourth best team in Mississippi. Yeah, I think the Fighting Okra could beat them. After all, the Mascotless starting QB couldn’t get any PT at Delta State.

How can the mediocrity be tolerated? I take that back. Mediocrity would be on the bubble of going to the Sharpie/Weedeater/PetroCrap Independence Bowl. UAT has that distinction. UM cannot even be considered mediocre. The Ole Most Chancellor Khayat has assured the public that The 0 will be around for next year “unless something completely insane happens.” Like going winless in the SEC since 1982? Something insane like that? Doubt it will affect The 0’s status. After all, Ole Most is a basketball and baseball school now. Was The 0 ever mentioned as a head coach candidate at a major college before Ole Miss picked him up?
